Botanix is the merchandising arm of Colourwise Nursery, an award winning wholesale nursery. Botanix requires an enthusiastic horticulturist or someone with industry experience to work in a merchandising capacity liaising with our sales team.
This position involves travel within and around the Brisbane area primarily to merchandise and display plants.
The successful applicant will be self motivated and have merchandising / nursery experience. You will possess sound grammar skills, proven communication skills, computer skills, and a pleasant outgoing personality.
Salary is above award hourly rate negotiated on experience.
This position requires only 16-20 hours a week of your time and is perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy in the workplace.

Apprentices Wanted

To complement our experienced Nursery team we are looking for up to 5 apprentices with a strong work ethic who are keen to learn the wholesale nursery business. Each individual will be signed to a NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) “Training Contract” and will work under an approved DET training plan.  Colourwise will sponsor successful apprentices in their TAFE studies and will teach them every aspect of the wholesale nursery business from propagation, potting, watering, fertilizing, pruning, spraying, dispatch through to sales. As well as a strong work ethic applicants should be fit and healthy, have a good sense of humour, work well in a team and be willing to learn.
