Agave ocahui x attenuata
A tight regular form with attractive markings.
| Uses: | The tight regular form and attractive markings on the leaves makes this plant a fine addition to lush plantings of desert perennials or to container planting. |
| Flowers: | May bloom after 5 years with a delicate 2m spike of bright yellow flowers that set seed with no bulbils. |
| Growth Habit: | Grows as a solitary symmetrical rosette 40-45cm tall and 50-60 as wide with numerous straight dark green/blue succulent leaves. They are stiff and flattened on the top with finely toothed margins lined with a narrow maroon/brown and a terminal spine. |
| Growing Guide: | Tolerates a wide range of growing conditions from full sun to partial shade and any well-drained soil. It is tolerant of very cold conditions (-10°C) and summer heat although summer water will maintain vigour. |
