Agave ocahui x attenuata

A tight regular form with attractive markings.

Uses: The tight regular form and attractive markings on the leaves makes this plant a fine addition to lush plantings of desert perennials or to container planting.
Flowers: May bloom after 5 years with a delicate 2m spike of bright yellow flowers that set seed with no bulbils.
Growth Habit: Grows as a solitary symmetrical rosette 40-45cm tall and 50-60 as wide with numerous straight dark green/blue succulent leaves.  They are stiff and flattened on the top with finely toothed margins lined with a narrow maroon/brown and a terminal spine.
Growing Guide: Tolerates a wide range of growing conditions from full sun to partial shade and any well-drained soil. It is tolerant of very cold conditions (-10°C) and summer heat although summer water will maintain vigour.
