Aloe broomii
'Snake Aloe'

Native to the rocky slopes of South Africia.

Uses: Ideal for rockeries and general landscaping and looks fantastic in a decorative pot.
Flowers: A 1.5m tall, unbranched, snake like inflorescence of yellow flowers appear from late August through to early October.
Growth Habit: A. broomii forms a stemless solitary rosette of bright green to yellowish-green succulent leaves with sharp spines and reddish brown margins.
Growing Guide: Fairly cold tolerant (0°C).  Plant in free draining soil in full sun or light shade.  Drought tolerant.
