Aloe broomii
'Snake Aloe'
Native to the rocky slopes of South Africia.
| Uses: | Ideal for rockeries and general landscaping and looks fantastic in a decorative pot. |
| Flowers: | A 1.5m tall, unbranched, snake like inflorescence of yellow flowers appear from late August through to early October. |
| Growth Habit: | A. broomii forms a stemless solitary rosette of bright green to yellowish-green succulent leaves with sharp spines and reddish brown margins. |
| Growing Guide: | Fairly cold tolerant (0°C). Plant in free draining soil in full sun or light shade. Drought tolerant. |
