Aloe chabaudii

A clustering succulent rosette that is generally stemless
to about 75cm occasionally with a short stem spreads by
offshoots to form large dense groups.

Uses: Ideal for rockeries and general landscaping and looks fantastic in a decorative pot.  It is a great resource for sunny, hot spots.
Flowers: The erect multi-branched flower stems form a spreading panicle with multiple racemes of deep red flowers in winter. Orange or yellow forms also occur.
Growth Habit: Glaucous green leaves have irregular white streaks or spots that are more frequent on young plants have a narrow white margin studded with small teeth and form a typical rosette of upright leaves. In hot dry conditions the leaf colour may become reddish tinged and the rosette close in.
Growing Guide: Planted in well-drained soil in a warm sheltered sunny and frost free position it is an attractive Aloe grown in a group and a very pretty sight when in flower to brighten a winter garden.
