Aloe cooperi
'Cooper's Aloe'

Aloe cooperi grows singly or in small groups from offshoots
at ground level. Plants may be stemless or short stemmed
with soft pliable yellowish green narrow v-shaped leaves
edged with a row of tiny white teeth and interesting white
spots and stripes on the underside of the leaf base.

Uses: Ideal for rockeries and general landscaping and looks fantastic in a decorative pot.  It is a great resource for sunny, hot spots.
Flowers: The fast-multiplying deciduous clumps are topped in midsummer with a simple and bold 45cm terminal flower spike of pendulous blooms that vary in colour from greenish-cream to apricot salmon pink and coral-orange.
Growth Habit: Height is usually about 75cm but varies in its habitat from 50cm in cold altitude areas where it may be herbaceous to 1.5m in warm coastal areas.
Growing Guide: Aloe cooperi is drought resistant and grows well in cultivation in a wide range of habitats from moist coastal to dry rocky areas.
