Aloe plicatilis
'Fan Aloe'
A unique Aloe with leaves arranged in a fan shape
providing a striking accent plant for gardens or tubs.
The multi-branching habit creates interest as does
the spectacular flower display.
| Uses: | Ideal accent plant for succulent gardens or container planting. |
| Flowers: | Tubular scarlet flowers borne on an erect stem to 50cm in late winter to spring. |
| Growth Habit: | Forms a multi stemmed trunk with clusters of terminal strap-shaped leaves arranged in a fan. The long, fleshy leaves are dull or grey-green in colour. In ideal conditions the plant may reach 5m at maturity. |
| Growing Guide: | Grow in any free draining, moderately fertile soil in full sun. protect from severe frosts. |
