Aloe speciosa
'Tilt Head Aloe'
A tall single stemmed tree like Aloe with large graceful rosettes of
glaucous leaves with red tips and margins often tilted at an angle.
| Uses: | Ideal for rockeries and general landscaping and looks fantastic in a decorative pot. |
| Flowers: | Simple densely multi flowered inflorescence has tricolour flowers: red buds open cream with exerted orange anthers. Up to four inflorescence may arise to 50cm from one rosette blooming in winter. |
| Growth Habit: | Habit may be simple or branched at ground level or higher with persistent older leaves clothing the stem. 2.5m high x 1.2m wide. |
| Growing Guide: | Grow in fertile free draining soil in a warm position; water during the growing season. Frost free. |
