Convolvulus mauritanicus
'Blue Moon'
‘Blue Moon’ is a hardy and versatile trailing perennial
selected for the prolific display of violet-blue flowers
throughout summer and early autumn. It is a member of the
ever-popular Convolvulus group that includes the white flowering
‘White Gladys’ and the lavender-blue form ‘Full Moon’.
| Uses: | Well suited for mass planting low maintenance areas. |
| Flowers: | Violet-blue open funnel shaped flowers up to 2.5cm in diameter. |
| Growth Habit: | A spreading groundcover with slender trailing stems to 50cm. |
| Growing Guide: | Prefers full sun position in fertile free draining soil. Hardy once established, tolerant of dry conditions and low temperatures. |
