‘Cobalt Tower’ is a striking ornamental perennial displaying
the best features of both its parents with lots of branching and
tall flower spikes in spring making a spectacular floral display.
| Uses: | Use as a showpiece in a spring flowering garden, or a backdrop in a coastal or modern low maintenance garden. |
| Flowers: | Tall flower spikes tightly packed with tiny blue-mauve blue flowers are produced in spring. |
| Growth Habit: | Grown from tissue culture for quality and uniformity ‘Cobalt Tower’ has an upright candelabrum branching habit with lots of branches that in spring produce tall flowering spikes tightly packed with tiny blue-mauve blue flowers. When in flower the plant is 2.5 – 3m tall. |
| Growing Guide: | After flowering prune off spent flower spikes to encourage more branches for next season’s flowers. Grows best in full sun in a well drained soil |
