Uses: Provides a pretty display of colour when planted in borders, perennial garden beds, containers and along pathways or against walls.  Great for contrasting foliage colour and texture in the garden.
Flowers: Tiny, pink, bell-shaped flowers borne in open, airy panicles appear in late spring to early summer on slender, wiry stems rising well above the foliage mound.
Growth Habit: Lobed, heart-shaped, long-petioled, very large, amethyst-purple leaves (8-10cm wide), which have silvery-grey venation. Height 30 to 50cm.  Width 30-50cm.
Growing Guide: Performs best in part shade avoiding the hot afternoon sun and in a well drained soil.
