'Obsidian'

‘Obsidian’ is an attractive and hardy, easy to grow perennial
with an abundance of striking foliage.
The large leaves are a vivid dark burgundy colour,
also having a brilliant glossy texture, which contrasts
superbly with the tall wisps of delicate white flowers.

Uses: Ideal for use as a border plant, ground cover or planted on mass in the garden for an emphasis on foliage. ‘Obsidian’ also does well in pots or tubs.
Flowers: Flowers in spring.
Growth Habit: Clumping growth habit, forming compact mounds of around 30-45cm. Flowers in spring whilst maintaining foliage colour year round.
Growing Guide: Plant in well drained soil of moderate fertility in sun to part shade. Remove spent blooms to prolong flowering, withered leaves may also be removed in spring. Requires only moderate moisture and a twice yearly feed.
